PRMC Series Pedestals

PRMC-190-MG

PRMC Series Pedestals house free-standing secondary connectors. PRMC pedestals are manufactured of SMC (Sheet Molded Compound) comprised of a thermoset resin, chopped roving, fillers and a catalyst are used in both sheet form. PRMC pedestals have a dielectric strength of 380 volts per mil or 71,250 volts with 3/16” SMC thickness.

PSP Plastic Series Pedestals

PSP Series Pedestals house free standing secondary connectors. PSP pedestals are manufactured by injection molding process. PSP pedestals have a dielectric strength of 600 volts per mil or 120,000 volts per 200 mils copolymer-polypropylene thickness.

PSPF pedestals mount either three hand hole or lay in connectors to the inside perimeter of the pedestal. The connectors are rated for 600 volts. The PSPF pedestals are manufactured by a rotational molding process.
Linear low density thermoplastic: 200 mils thick.
 PSPF pedestlas have a dielectric strength of 450 volts per mil or 90,000 volts per 200 mils of Linear Low Density Polyethylene thickness.

MPP Series Pedestals (Meter Plastic Pedestal) are an innovative approach to installing meters or other equipment to a plastic pedestal that does not rust or rot. This pedestal also has room inside for secondary connectors to be installed to the pedestals walls. The MPP pedestals are manufactured by a rotational molding process. The overall body of the pedestal is made of a linear low density polyethylene. MPP pedestlas have a dielectric strength of 450 volts per mil or 90,000 volts per 200 mils of Linear Low Density Polyethylene thickness.

MP/R Series Pedestals provide a safe and secure fiberglass mounting platform for a single position meter enclosure. The inside of the pedestal allows for secondary cables to come in from underground, to the meter, and finally to the resident or business. MP/R pedestals are manufactured of SMC (Sheet Molded Compound) comprised of a thermoset resin, chopped roving, fillers and a catalyst are used in both sheet form. P-50 pedestals have a dielectric strength of 380 volts per mil or 71,250 volts with 3/16” SMC thickness. (Meter enclosure not included)

Joint Trench Series Pedestals

Joint trench pedestals provide pedestals for secondary wiring, telephone cable, cable TV , and fiber optics. These pedestals are combinations of the PSP, PRMC, or P-50 Series pedestals. Various configurations are available.

Looping Series Pedestals

Looping pedestals are designed for looping 15 or 25kV primary cable at points where future plans call for installation of additional equipment.
These units are manufactured by a spray-up process. The fiberglass provides insulation of approximately 345 volts per mil or 86, 250 volts per 1/4 fiberglass thickness.

Below grade pedestals are flush buried and out of site of the customer.  Below grade pedestals have a dielectric strength of 380 volts per mil or 95,000 volts with 1/4” SMC thickness.
