Installation

Floating Nut Assemblies consist of a square brass nut, (FN-38=3/8” sq. nut, FN-12=1/2” sq. nut) held with a stainless steel nut retainer, covered with a SST flat plate. Two #10 bolts with lock washers and #10 hex nuts. These units can be installed virtually anywhere. Simply install a bolt through the square nut and tighten down whatever you want.

Transformer deferral brackets are another option for transformer deferral. These units are made of hot-dipped galvanized steel.  The TDB-2-C15 can be installed in the back corner of the 15” high CBP “A” units while the TDB-2-C24 can be installed in the back corner of the 24” high CBP “A” units. TDB-2 and TDB-3 can be installed in back corner of the GS-37-43-32A-CE-2 or the GS-37-43-32C-CE-2 box pads. The TDB-2 series allows for a two point 15/25/kV 200Amp feed-thru to be installed. The TDB-3 allows for a two point 35kV 200Amp feed-thru. The TDB series allows for a feed-thru to be mounted thereby allowing the feed-thru to isolate and “dead-end” an electrical circuit.
