You’re planning an underground electrical project, but the single phase transformers have a lead time of 12-16 weeks, what do you do? Work the plan and order the ND-28 single phase transformer deferral cabinet. You can still bury your underground cable, install a box pad, and terminate elbows to the junction installed in the ND-28. Once the single phase transformer shows up, remove the ND-28 and install the transformer. The ND-28 provides a feed through cabinet for 15kV or 25kV cable, or a single phase sectionalizing cabinet. We also have the ND-37-MG-102C-X-X that fits box pad openings of 22” x 24” and ND-38-MG-S108-X-X that fits box pad openings of 26” x 32” are designed for up to 35kV installations.
The ND-250-MG-101-X-X, three phase pad mount sectionalizing cabinet, can be used as a switchgear deferral cabinet for 15kV or 25kV 200A applications. This unit provides an inexpensive three phase switch until a live or deadfront switch is needed.
