The ND sectionalizing cabinets are designed to house electrical junctions used for sectionalizing purposes. These cabinets are also used for attaching loops, taps, and splices for either 15, 25, 35kV, 200A or 600A electrical configurations.
The ND-325 three phase sectionalizing cabinet accommodates a variety of 5 and 6 way multi-point junctions from Elastimold, Hubbell, G&W, and Cooper with 4” interface spacing. It does not accommodate 200A taps off of the 600A interface.
The below grade GSLBJ series sectionalizing cabinets are flush buried and out of view from the public. They also house electrical junctions for sectionalizing, loops, taps, or splices.
The ND deferral cabinets defer the arrival of a transformer or switch. For example, until a transformer arrives, the deferral’s electrical junctions can be hooked up and used as a single phase sectionalizing cabinet. Once the transformer arrives, remove the cabinet, install the transformer on the box pad, and put the transformer into service with the existing electrical hook ups.
Versatile cabinets for enclosing a variety of electrical equipment. Primarily designed for housing vacuum interrupter switches in either single (vertical or horizontal) or three phase vertical mount applications.
Cabinet extensions are available for some of our three phase sectionalizing cabinets. The extensions are bolted to the bottom of a cabinet and allow for more cable training and improved anchoring.
Nordic cabinet mounting plates accommodate a variety of manufacturers load or dead break junctions with U-straps. Check our chart to see what junctions our mounting plates will fit.
