Three Phase Cabinet Installation

Excavation:
Excavate the area approximately four to six inches deeper than suggested burial depth in order to allow for back filling with loose impediment material.

Base Material:
Add approximately four to six inches of gravel and then compact this material by hand or machine. Make sure the gravel bed is level.

Installation:
Attach sling to the lifting eyes on the cabinet base. The cabinet cover can be opened during the installation to allow for cable training. If the installation is performed in this manner, secure the prop and cam arm (depending on cabinet model). Lower the open cabinet base over the cables to the desired burial depth.

Back-filling:
To start back-filling, close the cabinet lid and tighten the penta-head bolt. Back-fill with loose material. Do not back-fill with frozen chunks or large rocks next to the cabinet. Pack the back-fill by foot tamping. Hydraulic tamping is not recommended.
